Officers of the Southern Cruisers: Here is the information for the contact person at Choice Hotels for the Discount Cards that they have offered our club members. Many members have already taken advantage of this opportunity. Reservations can be made by phone to any of the hotels shown below. So far, I have not stayed at one of these motels and had a bad night.

You can order the cards from Sheila. Allow a month to receive the cards but to also convey to the members that they can, at any time, make reservations by calling 1-800-258-2847 and giving them the SCRC ID #00801337 until them or even after they get the card. This information should not be given to non-club members nor should it be used as a recruiting tool. Many officers complain that their members don’t ride with them. Telling folks about discounts in advance does increase membership but sometimes that is the only reason they join. This is sort of a reward for them riding and participating with us. Please contact Sheila for Card information. All cards will have the same Number on them. There will not be cards for different chapters.
